The R&D Division conducts research projects and technology maturation efforts to enhance the competition team’s capabilities.

 

For the 2025-2026 school year, R&D is working on a modular aircraft that follows the competition rules. The aircraft will be built with components that are easy to disassemble from the “core” of the plane. This will allow the team to be able to quickly switch out parts for new configurations and will allow for easy transportation.
